Our story
Hi there, I’m Andrea, the founder of Mamafood. I opened this small vegan diner with my boyfriend Michael. I’ve always loved animals and I became vegan when I was about 13. Michael found his way to veganism in his late 20s, when he got inspired by vegan sportsmen.
We opened Mamafood right next to our family’s business - a health food store called Biocentrum Krakov. I’ve always dreamed about having my own vegan diner. It was a dream I’d shared with my mom, already while opening Biocentrum. My mum is sadly no longer with us but we at least named the diner in her memory. That’s why it’s called Mamafood.
We aim to cook and make everything exactly the way she’d want it to be - that means with love, dedication and amazing taste! She’s the best cook ever.
